I've used Ascend many times. It's legit. They are also very helpful with concierge services for inevitable issues with airlines. For instance. My FIL on a flight to Italy booked as Joe instead of Joseph (our fault not theirs). United basically said FU not my problem, you can't get on. Texted Ascend and they magically fixed it in 5 minutes while I was still on hold with United trying to get it sorted out. So you save a lot of money, but the concierge service is a service in itself for dealing with problems. That's nice to just text "fix this" and it gets fixed.Exited Founder
